Bradfield's documentation of the construction of the Sydney City Railway. Work on the underground electric railway, designed by John Bradfield, had begun in February 1922, and the high sandstone-faced walls along Elizabeth Street carried the line across Belmore Park between Central Station and the tunnel entrances at Goulburn Street.
